Directory sync

Directory sync imports users and groups from the directory your company already maintains — Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, or an LDAP / Active Directory server — so you don’t recreate them by hand.

Your directory → Preview → Your selection → Import into ServiceOps

Nothing is written until you have seen exactly what will be imported and chosen it. The preview lists users and groups as the directory returns them; you tick what you want.

  1. Open Organization → Settings → Identity & directory.
  2. Choose your directory type:
    • Microsoft Entra ID — uses an app registration in your tenant with directory-read permission, consented by your admin.
    • Google Workspace — uses your Google Cloud credentials with directory-read scope.
    • LDAP / Active Directory — server address, bind account, and search base.
  3. Choose Preview: ServiceOps queries the directory live and shows what it found.
  4. Select the users and groups to import, and the default role imported users receive.
  5. Run the import.

Result: imported users appear in Users, imported groups in Groups, with membership preserved. Users signing in later through SSO match their imported account by email.
